Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Klynt is a Chrome extension built by Studia Labs that helps professionals grow their LinkedIn presence using AI-powered tools. This policy describes how Klynt collects, uses, and protects your data. This policy supplements the Studia Labs Privacy Policy, which also applies to your use of Klynt.

2. Data Collected by the Extension

LinkedIn Page Content

When you use Klynt on LinkedIn, the extension reads content from the current page (e.g., post text, author name, profile headlines) to provide its features. This data is processed locally in your browser and is only sent to our servers when you explicitly trigger an action, such as:

  • Generating an AI comment
  • Creating a post idea
  • Generating a connection message template

Generated Content

AI-generated comments, post ideas, and connection templates are stored on our servers to display in your dashboard and track usage against your plan limits.

Authentication Data

Your session token is stored in the extension's local storage to keep you signed in. No passwords are stored in the extension.

3. What Klynt Does NOT Collect

  • We do not track your browsing history
  • We do not read or store your LinkedIn password or credentials
  • We do not send data to any third parties other than our AI provider (xAI/Grok) for content generation
  • We do not passively collect data — the extension only activates when you interact with it
  • We do not access your LinkedIn messages, connections list, or private data

4. Permissions

Klynt requires the following Chrome permissions:

  • Host permission (linkedin.com) — Required to read post content and inject the Klynt sidebar UI on LinkedIn pages
  • Storage — Used to store your authentication session and extension preferences locally
  • Tabs — Used to open the OAuth login flow in a new tab

5. AI Processing

When you request AI-generated content, the relevant context (e.g., post text, author name, your selected tone) is sent to our server, which forwards it to xAI (Grok) for processing. The AI provider does not store your data beyond the request lifecycle. The generated content is returned to you and saved to your account.

6. Data Deletion

You can delete your generated content (comments, post ideas, templates) at any time from the dashboard. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at hello@studialabs.com.
